SDC is back with October Dinners built around the season's cozy fall flavors and transitional market ingredients. Start with phyllo-fried feta, herby falafel, and cabbage rolls with rice and roasty mushrooms, then dig into harissa chicken skewers with garlicky yogurt, caramelized onion spaghetti squash, and kale fritters. Finish sweet with black sesame"nutter butter"–esque cookie sandwiches, tahini ice cream, and a concord grape jam swirl.

The dinner takes place in the same building as Honey Butter Fried Chicken, 3361 N. Elston Ave in Chicago. Dinners are communal seating, and BYOB. Dinners start promptly at 6:30pm. Reservations are required.
